Cleaning Procedure
- Pour and brush kief from the Dipping Bowl into a storage container.
- From the bottom of the Dipping Bowl, use the blow gun to blow out entrapped material.
- Immerse the bottom of the Dipping Bowl in a shallow pan of IPA. Agitate to remove entrapped material.
- Repeat as necessary with clean IPA.
- Wipe the remaining portions of the bowl with IPA and microfiber cloths.
- Oven dry at 35°C for 4hrs minimum or until dry.
- Do NOT rest the Dipping Bowl directly on the oven floor.
- Do NOT overheat the Dipping Bowl.
- Use a bright light from the bottom of the Dipping Bowl to inspect the pores, which should look clean and let light through.
- Re-lubricate the Dipping Bowl o-rings with food safe grease.
- Re-install the Dipping Bowl by aligning the tab to its base, and press down firmly to seat.
Notes
- This procedure is listed in the Cleaning Schedule section of the Stardust Operational Manual.
- The pore inspection step is important: the pores should appear clean and allow light through before reinstalling the bowl.
