🖥️ Monitor Won’t Turn On (copy)

Last updated May 8, 2025

If your machine’s monitor isn’t turning on, follow the steps below to identify and resolve the issue.

✅ Step 1: Check if the Machine is Turned On

Make sure the machine itself is powered on. The monitor won't receive a signal or power if the machine is off.

✅ Step 2: Look for the Monitor Power Indicator

Check the LED light on the back of the monitor:

  • If the LED is lit → Power is reaching the monitor.
  • If the LED is off → The monitor is not receiving power. Skip to  Step 5 .

🔄 Step 3: Reseat the Monitor Power Cable

If the LED is on, but the display is still black:

  1. Locate the bullet-style power connector going to the monitor.
  2. Unplug it and plug it back in securely.
  3. Wait a few seconds to see if the screen turns on.

🔌 Step 4: Reseat the USB-C Cable

If the monitor is still not working:

  1. Locate the USB-C cable connected to the monitor.
  2. Unplug and firmly reconnect it on both ends (monitor and PC).
  3. Check if the display turns on.

❌ Step 5: Contact Support

If:

  • The LED on the back of the monitor is off, or
  • You've reinserted both the power and USB-C cables and the screen still won’t turn on,

please contact support for further assistance.
