🖥️ Monitor Won’t Turn On
Last updated March 30, 2026
If your machine’s monitor isn’t turning on, follow the steps below to identify and resolve the issue.
✅ Step 1: Check if the Machine is Turned On and Power Cycle
If the monitor is displaying No Signal and other lights on the machine are on, then turn the machine off and leave and wait 10 minutes before turning the machine on to fully reset the machine. If the machine continues to power on but there is no video display then continue to Step 2.
✅ Step 2: Look for the Monitor Power Indicator
Check the LED light on the back of the monitor:
- If the LED is red/green → Power is reaching the monitor.
- If the LED is off → The monitor is not receiving power. Skip to Step 5.
🔄 Step 3: Re-seat the Monitor Power Cable
If the LED is on, but the display is still black:
- Locate the bullet-style power connector going to the monitor.
- Unplug it and plug it back in securely.
- Wait a few seconds to see if the screen turns on.
🔌 Step 4: Re-seat the USB-C Cable
If the monitor is still not working:
- Locate the USB-C cable connected to the monitor.
- Unplug and firmly reconnect it on both ends (monitor and PC).
- Check if the display turns on.
❌ Step 5: Contact Support
If:
- The LED on the back of the monitor is off
- You've reinserted both the power and USB-C cables and the screen still won’t turn on
Please contact support for further assistance.
